On this battle with the current the administration and Aliko Dangote people should know that Alhaji didnt become Africa’s richest man just by doing business and playing nice. The man has proven to be rugged and capable of playing dirty when push comes to shove. What is happening now is because the people up against have direct access to the number one man, and the number one man is heavily invested with the people he is up against. But that does not mean he will let them have their way easily. He only mentioned blending plant in Malta in his release and we are already seeing different data Petrol importation from Malta and connection between the companies involved - Oando and Ras Hazir. It is obvious that Dangote has more information and he is willing and ready to use it anyhow he sees fit. The people trying to do anyhow with Alhaji better be ready.

The invisible hands on this Dangote matter is plenty. The truth is that Dangote oil refinery could end decades-long gasoline trade from Europe to Africa worth $17 billion a year. The pressure is that some European refineries are already at risk of closure from heightened competition because they would be losing a significant trade difference.

When Dangote mentioned Malta, the people in the energy industry knew what he was saying. Nigeria imported petroleum products worth $2.1 billion from Malta last year alone, and that is from not importing anything in 2022. Dangote knows a lot and I hope they push him some more so he can do more podcast lol

This Tinubu people just dont care. Too greedy. If Dangote decides to delist his companies from the Nigerian stock exchange, the market would immediately lose at least a fifth of its value. Do you know that Dangote has no direct liabilities, he directly owns at least 85% of Dangote Cement, and less than 12% of the company is floated on Nigerian stock market. His cash will buy any Nigerian bank even at a 100% premium.

Dangote should be protected and not victimized in all of these.

Dangote has been enjoying the padi padi in government all this while. This is the first time he is facing the reality as other business people in nigeria. Now he knows he cant make the government to impose ban on importation like he did with cement.

Dangote is not a perfect man, but I don’t think there is anyone that will loss $500 million loss because of Government delay and propaganda. You can hate him, but he didnt get any land free, and he is the most important entity on the Nigerian stock market

I did not say he is not important, but he is facing the reality in Nigeria for the first time, and maybe when other Nigerians complain he would understand. Did he instigate the ban on cement or not? Did he intend to do the same for petrol on not? We both know how the man plays and I hope it is the people that benefit in all this.
