The impact of lazy lecturers in our tertiary education system is so terrible such that it’s telling on simple conversations online.
For instance You attend university, lecturer issues a handout. You are supposed to reproduce his/her handout faithfully. In the exams else you would be marked down..So there’s no room for critical thinking, or alternate ideas.
How long are we going to continue on this trajectory?
A friend got into trouble with a lecturer in his school for not answering the question the same way tye lecturer stated it in his handout. The man told him he was trying to show him he knows better than him 😢
I learnt this the hard way. It was c++, a coding language I understood before going to the university
I answered the question perfectly but lecturer said I didn’t give him the answer in the notebook.
I got a D in a course I would ideally get an A
I had to start reading in two sessions, one is reading to understand, and the second is reading to pass exams
