Wo, I woke up this morning and saw this gist, my head just dey spin! Comot body, Air Peace, wetin dey occur? Police don confirm say three of their buses dey custody because dem allegedly block Lagos airport runway during one union strike. Like, seriously? Runway o! Not Oshodi bus stop, not Iyana-Ipaja. The actual runway where planes dey take off and land.
Now, I understand say union matters fit hot, and sometimes na gra-gra dey do some people. But blocking a runway? That one no be small thing o. Imagine person wey get emergency flight, or international passengers wey suppose connect. This kind action fit cause serious wahala, beyond just delays. Na security breach gan-gan.
Dem say investigations dey ongoing to identify those involved. Me, I just dey wonder, who gave that order? Was it a spur-of-the-moment thing, or a planned strategy? Because if na strategy, then the people behind it need to explain themselves properly. We dey talk about aviation safety here, not just one small palaver.
This whole thing just reminds me of how quickly things can escalate when proper channels no dey followed. And for an airline like Air Peace, which is supposed to be a national pride, this kind incident no good for their image at all. Sure guy, dem need to clear their name sharp-sharp and cooperate fully with the police.
What una dey think, AprokoNation? Na over-reaction from the union, or na the only way dem fit make their voice heard? And Air Peace, una go just stand dey look?
