Student unionism has become a sham, human rights activism has become a ruse, and labour union leaders have become political houseboys. Pro-democracy deities have become Abacha and Mustapha and Daniel Kanu. Where is our dear Bishop Kukah after that small university appointment? Has he become a political man servant? Observing this country punishes one with vertigo.
The recent actions of the Tinubu-led APC government have left many Nigerians questioning the true intentions of our leaders. From the handling of the economy to the response to national crises, it seems like the government is more interested in maintaining power than serving the people.
The current state of our economy is a testament to the failure of the APC government.
